It is understood that all merchandise remains the property of Ezell Company until paid in full.
NO merchandise to be returned without prior written authorization. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to customer at customer’s own expense.
Any change or cancelation must be made within 48 hours of placing order. Special orders (custom options) cannot be canceled or returned once acknowledged. All returns are subject to 25% restocking fee plus any delivery charges if applicable. If consignees refuse or are unable to accept delivered orders, we will charge 100% of the original freight cost plus redelivery fees and/or storage fees.
Will Call orders are available for some vendors. If this option is chosen, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment for pickup. Will Call does not include loading of the product(s).
Make sure you receive as many cartons as are listed on the delivery receipt. If shortage is discovered, note exactly how many cartons are short on the carriers delivery receipt and have the driver note the shortage on your copy.
If damage is visible, note this fact on the delivery receipt and have the driver clearly note the damage on your copy. If you suspect that the carton contents may be damaged, insist the driver remain present while you open the carton and jointly inspect the contents. Any concealed damage discovered should also be noted on the delivery receipt and on your copy. Be sure to retain your copy.
All cartons should be immediately opened and inspected for possible concealed damage.
If damage is found, details should be reported to Ezell Company immediately. Failure to report concealed damage within 5 calendar days of the delivery date could result in the carrier denying the claim and any replacement costs may be your responsibility.
